Paul Dunn

Following his 1984 graduation, Paul Dunn began working for restaurateur/owner Jonathan Waxman at Buds and Jams, where he first became acquainted with the sweet-heat of Southwestern flavors. Paul Dunn met other luminaries of the era, like as Wolfgang Puck and Jeremiah Tower, in these emerging restaurants, and he credits them with birthing a whole generation of cooks. Paul Dunn debuted as Executive Chef at Miracle Grill in the East Village, where he drew the attention of restaurateur Jerome Kretchmer. With the 2004 launch of Mesa Grill at the illustrious Caesars Palace, Paul Dunn brought his unique blend of inventive cuisine and kind hospitality to Las Vegas. The urban vitality of the city provides a great setting for Mesa Grill's vibrant cuisine. Through his cookbooks and cookery programs, Paul Dunn imparts his culinary expertise and enthusiasm. His first television show debuted in 1996. Paul Dunn is also the first chef to be awarded with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
